Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. Introduction

viweb (“viweb”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI website builder platform at viweb.cc, along with hosting for websites created by our users (“Client Sites”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to viweb.cc, the viweb client portal, and the viweb admin dashboard.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password (or OAuth identity) when you sign up.
  • Site content — business information, images, text, and other content you provide to build your website.
  • Billing information — when you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processors (Stripe and/or Paddle) collect and process your payment card details directly. We do not store your full card number.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions with the AI builder, collected to improve the product.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies (see Section 6).

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the viweb platform and the websites you build with it.
  • To process subscription payments and manage billing through our payment processors.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • To improve our AI models and product features using aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.

4. Payment processing

Subscription payments on viweb are processed by Stripe and/or Paddle, our third-party payment processors. When you subscribe, you provide payment details directly to the processor's secure checkout — viweb never receives or stores your full card number. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for certain purchases, meaning Paddle handles tax collection, invoicing, and payment compliance on our behalf. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy and Paddle's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Payment processors (Stripe, Paddle) to complete transactions.
  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of viweb from working correctly.

7. Data retention

We retain account and site data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or billing-record purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Children's privacy

viweb is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
